The project began with a client brief for a trade show booth. Taking into account both the client’s requirements and the booth’s location, I analyzed key factors that would guide the floor plan and overall design. This initial stage was crucial to define a clear design direction, ensure spatial efficiency, and set a strong foundation for the development process.
I explored several floor plan options to balance open circulation with focused engagement. My goal was to let attendees move freely through the booth while naturally drawing their attention to key displays and brand messages. Each concept was inspired by visual elements that represent the company’s identity. After evaluating multiple layouts, I selected the one that best achieved these objectives—encouraging smooth visitor flow, highlighting the products effectively, and clearly conveying the company’s brand values.

Floor Plan Ideation
Based on the selected floor plan, I developed idea sketches to visualize the overall booth design. The concept was built around the key message, “Turn the Unpredictable into the Predictable.” A central cylindrical structure anchors the space, while the surrounding curved and winding canopies create a sense of dynamic motion. These elements gradually converge into a single bold line that flows seamlessly to the ground, symbolizing transformation and unity within the company’s brand message.

Tablet
A touchscreen tablet is provided to give visitors easy access to detailed turbine specifications, performance data, and energy output simulations. The interface allows users to explore key features such as blade design, power generation capacity, and maintenance intervals. Interactive infographics and animations visualize how the turbine operates under various wind conditions. The tablet also includes a comparison mode, helping visitors understand how HomeWind Turbines outperform conventional models. This feature turns technical data into an engaging, hands-on learning experience within the booth.
VR Experience
The virtual reality station immerses visitors in a realistic simulation of wind turbine installation and operation. Using high-resolution 3D visuals, guests can experience each step—from assembly and setup to real-time power generation—within a safe and controlled environment. The interactive design allows users to explore the turbine’s internal components and see how wind speed and direction influence energy output. It provides a hands-on understanding of complex engineering concepts in an intuitive, engaging way. This immersive experience helps visitors connect the technology to real-world applications, reinforcing HomeWind’s message of innovation and reliability.

Comfortable seating for casual business meetings and visitor relaxation.
Lounge Area

To ensure visibility from outside the booth, one wind turbine is positioned on the second-floor deck, making it easily seen from a distance, while the other turbines are arranged at ground level, allowing visitors to view all products as they enter. This layout lets people preview the exhibits from outside, naturally inviting them into the space. Additionally, by displaying one turbine prominently on the upper deck, the design enhances its visual impact and draws greater attention to the product’s presence within the booth.
