I am a 3D modeler who can work with Sketchup, Alias Autostudio, SolidWorks, and Blender. These programs can be used for different types of projects. Alias Autostudio, for instance, is suitable for modeling transportation systems. Blender is an all-rounder, but I usually use it to model industrial goods. Solidworks is a great tool for creating industrial mock-ups. Sketchup is great for designing interiors and architecture. There are many plug-ins with diverse features and it's easy to use.
